How it works
We always strive to ensure that your experience of working with Orchard House is as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible. We realise you have to continue living your life (often in the home that is being transformed!), and so provide end-to-end interior design project management.
The Process: Interior Design Project Management
Every interior design project varies, but the interior design process normally consists of the following:
- We visit your property for an initial consultation and to assess the scope of your project.
- This will be followed up by a letter confirming your requirements and the cost of the design work. If you are happy to proceed, we then arrange a convenient time to take a fuller brief and undertake measured surveys.
- Next comes the design phase, where we create and draw up designs based on your requirements and preferences. The proposed designs are usually presented within roughly two weeks, depending on the scale of the project. These are discussed in depth, with any changes incorporated as required.
- Once you have approved the scheme, we implement it. We supply a firm quotation for works and goods to be ordered before commencing and oversee the project as it takes shape.
Orchard House Studio uses the RIBA / BIID Form of Appointment for Interior Design Services (ID/05), copies of which are available to all clients. (Royal Institute of British Architects / British Institute of Interior Design).
