Despite the weather, blue sky design is in glorious evidence at the 2013 Chelsea Flower Show this week, and is enough to chase away those early summer blues. Fabulous gardens aside, I loved Hemingway Design’s ‘Shedquarters‘, one of the Artisan Retreats at this year’s show.
Hemingway Design have just launched their new floral print celebrating the centenary year of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and the first exclusive viewing can be seen in their floral hideout shown here.
The interior reflects Mid-Century Modern design with a nod to Pop Art, and incorporates fabrics in greys and yellows, with red accents in the oversized tea, coffee and sugar cannisters, rug and Punch and Judy deck chair. Way too cool for the garden shed!
In keeping with the horticultural theme, Romo’s new Black Edition Kew collection includes a wonderfully fresh design for Spring depicting a flowering magnolia digitally printed on linen. Four striking colourways, two of which are shown here, bring floral design bang up to the minute.
